The leaderboard is simple: higher confirmed bids rank higher.
Your bid is your rank
Overtaken is a paid creator leaderboard. Higher confirmed bids rank above lower confirmed bids. There is no voting, editorial ranking, follower-count algorithm, or hidden score.
Alice - $5Bob - $3Charlie - $1.50Alice ranks above Bob and Charlie because her confirmed bid is highest.
Bidding starts at $1
The first bid is $1.00. Below $2, each + click adds $0.05: $1.00, $1.05, $1.10, $1.15, through $1.95 and $2.00. From $2 onward, each + click adds $1: $2, $3, $4, $5, $6, and up.
The + button controls the valid bid ladder; bids are not free-form.
You can bid higher
The amount shown by Overtaken is the minimum needed to move above the current Global leader. You can click + more than once and choose a higher valid amount.
Minimum to overtake: $1.20You may choose $1.20, $1.25, $1.30, through $2, then $3, $4, $5, and higher valid steps. A higher bid may be harder to overtake.
Payment must be confirmed
Opening Dodo checkout does not put you on the leaderboard. A bid can rank only after Overtaken receives verified payment confirmation from Dodo Payments. The success or return page alone does not determine your rank.
Checkout does not reserve a position
Your rank is based on confirmed payments, not when checkout was opened.

Global is the main leaderboard
Global contains successfully paid creator entries across Overtaken's lifetime and is ordered by bid amount. The highest Global bid determines the minimum amount needed to overtake.
Today is a daily view
Today shows successfully paid bids confirmed during the current day. It is a second view of the same real payments, not a separate bidding price. Global still sets the minimum, and today's bids remain in Global.
Equal bids
If two creators have the same confirmed bid amount, the creator whose payment was confirmed first ranks higher.
Creator profiles
Every submission needs at least one valid creator profile URL. Instagram, TikTok, X / Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn accept profile URLs only; LinkedIn accepts personal profiles only. Overtaken extracts the public handle or channel identity, stores a canonical clickable profile URL, and displays the clean identity rather than the full URL.
Use your own profile
Submit your own profile or one you are authorized to promote. Do not impersonate others, use intentionally misleading identity information, submit malicious links or fraudulent profiles, or make abusive submissions. See the Terms & Conditions for the detailed rules.
Rank can always change
A paid position is not permanent. Another creator can make a higher valid bid and move above you. Payment does not guarantee permanent #1, a fixed time at #1, traffic, followers, engagement, or revenue.
